Effective Date: March 4, 2026
Company / Legal Entity: VetPilot (service operator as identified in official product legal notices) ("VetPilot," "we," "our").
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the VetPilot mobile applications, websites, data sets, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for veterinary professionals, including licensed veterinarians, credentialed veterinary technicians/nurses, veterinary assistants, and students or trainees in veterinary or animal-health programs.
VetPilot does not verify or authenticate professional credentials in the current release. You are solely responsible for ensuring you are qualified and legally permitted to use clinical reference software in your jurisdiction.
The Service is not intended for pet owners, consumers, or individuals without formal veterinary training.
No veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) is created by use of the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
The Service provides informational veterinary reference tools, including drug information, calculators, structured notes, and clinical reference materials.
The Service: (1) does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide medical advice; (2) does not replace professional veterinary judgment; and (3) may contain inaccuracies, omissions, outdated information, or errors.
All clinical decisions remain solely the responsibility of the attending licensed veterinarian exercising independent professional judgment.
The Service may support urgent or emergency workflows only as an adjunct reference and must not be used as the sole or primary basis for emergency, anesthesia-critical, or life-saving decisions.
You agree that: (1) you will independently verify all calculations, dosages, and clinical information; (2) you will confirm regulatory requirements and standards in your jurisdiction; and (3) you assume full responsibility for any reliance on the Service.
User-modified or customized entries are not reviewed or validated by VetPilot. You assume full responsibility for any outcomes arising from such modifications.
The Service is local-first. Core clinical entries are stored on your device.
In builds where account connection is enabled, VetPilot processes account and session metadata required for authentication, security, and account management.
If cross-device clinical history is enabled, de-identified activity records may be synced to your VetPilot account to support continuity across your devices.
Feature availability may vary by build, flag, and region.
You agree not to: (1) reverse engineer, scrape, extract, or reproduce the Service; (2) use the Service to train models or build competing products without written permission; (3) circumvent technical safeguards; (4) misrepresent credentials or identity; or (5) use the Service in a manner that violates professional standards or applicable law.
All software, calculations, datasets, database structures, UI/UX elements, text, branding, and related materials are owned by VetPilot or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for permitted professional reference purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or secure operation.
VetPilot does not warrant that calculations or reference content are error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VetPilot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including clinical outcomes, animal injury or death, lost profits, business interruption, data loss, or regulatory penalties.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the greater of: (1) USD $100, or (2) the amount paid by you to VetPilot in the preceding 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including (where applicable) liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, or other non-waivable liabilities.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VetPilot from claims arising out of clinical use of the Service, reliance on incorrect or user-modified data, violation of law or professional standards, or misuse of the Service, including third-party claims brought by animal owners or other parties.
Before filing a claim, you agree to first send a written Notice of Dispute to admin@vetpilot.app and attempt informal resolution for 30 days.
For users in jurisdictions where enforceable, unresolved disputes shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration (not class arbitration). Class, collective, or representative actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.
If arbitration is legally unavailable or unenforceable in your jurisdiction, disputes shall be resolved in competent courts as provided in Section 11.
Arbitration Opt-Out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing admin@vetpilot.app with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and sufficient identifying information to process your request.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where VetPilot is legally established, currently the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law principles, and subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
Where court proceedings are permitted, venue shall be the competent courts located in Delaware, United States, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
Certain builds include optional AI-assisted workflows (for example, intake normalization, lab text recovery, and lab attachment interpretation). Inputs you submit to those features may be transmitted to VetPilot-operated servers for processing.
AI output is informational only and does not replace independent professional judgment.
You may discontinue use at any time by uninstalling the application.
VetPilot may suspend or restrict access where misuse, legal risk, or violation of these Terms is reasonably suspected.
Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary.
No Waiver. Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
